Matthew Ellinwood
We have known Matthew it seems for ever. He has very much become a member of the clan. We met at Washington University where we both coached a fledgling rowing program. Matthew had rowed at Middlesex in High School and later did his undergraduate work at Wash U.
Matthew went on to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and did brilliant genetic research at the University of Pennsylvania and Iowa State before taking on the role of Chief Scientific Officer at the MPS Society.
Matthew has the unique ability to retain voluminous information on everything from history to art to science and can instantly bring it up along with some hilarious story of growing up in Tucson, Arizona. His skill in the kitchen is legendary and we try to have him on all our sailing trips if his schedule aligns.
He is fully committed to being onboard for the entire journey!
