Ahsan Iqbal

Ahsan was born and raised in Pakistan and educated in some of the finest schools there including St. Marys’s Academy and Aitchison College.  He studied Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT where he met his future wife and best friend, Linda.  They both rowed for MIT and developed a passion for the sport that has lasted to this day.  Ahsan recently retired from Boeing after 30 years of incredibly rewarding work on advanced aircraft and programs.

He next turned his dreams to exploring, another great passion which has hitherto been on land.  He managed to talk Linda into buying a catamaran and planning a circumnavigation of the world starting in 2025.  The goal is to take a leisurely sail around the globe and explore human and wildlife both above and below the water.  He also wants to use this opportunity to participate in a research program that can take advantage of such a unique trip.
