Anisa Iqbal

Anisa grew up in Wayne and is a Shipley girl through and through.  Like everyone else in the family she rowed and was a Team Captain in High School.  She was recruited by Yale Women’s Crew and made the NCAA Championships in all three years she coxed as well as winning the Ivy League Championships two years.

Anisa is now in Medical School at Emory Medical School in Atlanta, GA. 

Anisa is a natural sailor, and combined with her many years of being at the helm of 60 foot long boats, and giving commands in tense situations, make her a natural skipper.  Her skills as a helmsman are outstanding and we gladly relinquish the helm to her in tight quarters.  Anisa loves sailing and jumps at every opportunity to go out with her friends.
