Linda Iqbal, MD

Linda grew up moving from town to town as her Dad went up the corporate ladder.  She met Ahsan at MIT and joined the rowing team in her Junior year , earning her varsity letter a quick year later.  She studied medicine at St. Louis University Medical School and is a practicing physician specializing in Internal Medicine.

Along the way she fell in love with coaching rowing and coached at St. Louis Rowing Club, Shipley and became the Head Coach of Utah Crew.

Linda is not a fan of sailing on the open ocean but likes coastal sailing and simply loves snorkeling and swimming.  We have to drag her away from coral reefs because she loses sense of time observing incredible plants and marine life.  She has become  a very competent sailor and makes a calm and logical skipper.
